FOR the past few months, Selangor has topped the list of daily Covid-19 infections despite steady decline in other states. Other states also at one time or another experienced high Covid-19 cases and with all the intensive measures taken by both the state governments and Federal Government, cases seem to have gone down steadily. It seems that this rich state is gradually becoming a Covid-19 epicentre based on the high daily infections. If other states are steadily seeing a decline in Covid-19 cases, why isn’t Selangor? The ramping up of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme is a vital approach in fighting the pandemic.
