PETALING JAYA: Former Bar Council president Datuk Lim Chee Wee has denied sending several text messages to a foreign client suggesting court decisions can be influenced. In a media statement, he said he had lodged a police report on the text messages and would cooperate with the authorities on the matter. "I refer to the recent reports and stories carried in the media concerning purported text messages which mentioned my name. "These messages are in connection with a matter pending in court and which were allegedly sent recently by a third party. "Therefore, these recent text messages purportedly quoting me, are blatantly false.
