A bus service is set to run between Reading and Slough this Boxing Day to help keep communities connected while some train services are not running. A service has also been organised for Flightline 703 on Christmas Day, to run between Slough and Heathrow Terminal 5 from 4am to 11pm to aid Heathrow workers, holidaymakers and visitors who need to work and travel on the day. The service will be staffed by drivers who have volunteered to work on the day. Robert Williams, chief executive officer at Reading Buses, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to wish our customers and employees an enjoyable Christmas. “We are delighted to be able to offer a special service on Christmas Day on Flightline 703 to help get people to and from Heathrow Airport.”For more details about Christmas services, visit: www.reading-buses.co.uk
