Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP S. B. Dissanayake stated that through the implementation of the Colombo Port City Development Project (CPCP), the government is hoping to attract at least three or four Fortune 500 companies into the country. Addressing the media at the weekly media briefing, Dissanayake said 91.7 percent of the development of the country was due to the work of entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, MP Ajith Nivard Cabraal stated on Friday (28) that all investors of all countries are allowed to invest in the Port City. Therefore, we need to convert the Port City area into an attractive place which will help local and foreign businessmen,” the Minister said. State Minister Ajith Nivard Cabraal added that some investors have already visited the Port City and showed interest.
