A social housing project in Sham Shui Po built using containers will welcome 89 families. The transitional homes project on Nam Cheong Street in Sham Shui Po, is the first to be undertaken by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. This will be temporary home for those living in subdivided units waiting for public housing for three years. There are units for one occupant, two people and three people, as well as accessible units at ground floor in the one-block project. The project was proposed by Hong Kong Council of Social Service and sponsored by Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
