The annual Red River Memorial Day Motorcycle Rally in New Mexico turned deadly on Saturday when two outlaw biker gangs got into a gunfight, killing three people and injuring five others. Both gangs, the Bandidos, and the Water Dog, were involved in the altercation which resulted in the shooting. All eight people shot, including those killed, were members of the two gangs. Johnson stated that as long as biker gangs remain in town, he could not guarantee anyone’s safety who goes to the rally. The Bandidos were involved in a shootout with other biker gangs in Waco, Texas, back in 2015, which left nine bikers dead and 170 under arrest.
