Sierra Leone’s War Victims: Letters Proved Sirleaf Funded Mayhem -

Posted by Ben Mabande |WASHINGTON, DC – New damaging allegations to the character, stature and international reputation of outgoing Liberian president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf have surfaced, as victims of the Sierra Leone’s war allegedly directed by Charles Taylor and led by the late Corporal Foday Sankoh have decided to pursue an international legal action against the Liberian leader and the ex-president of Burkina Faso. According to the victims, they feel compelled to bring legal actions against President Sirleaf and former Burkina Faso’s president Blaise Compaoré for financing and supporting the training and material acquisition of the NPFL rebels of Charles Taylor and the RUF rebels of the late Foday Sankoh. The victim group says two letters from both Dr. Byron Tarr and the late Harry Greaves respectively indicate that Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf organized and financed the war that left them disfigured for life.
