Growing fears the deadly coronavirus will spread to New York City have led some Chinese community organizations to cancel or postpone Lunar New Year events and other gatherings. Last week, the Yellow Crane Club, a community group based in Flushing, Queens, canceled much of its programming related to the Lunar New Year, one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture.
