Spain weather warning: Brits arriving on holiday swelter in 100-degree heatwave


As Spain reopened its borders to tourists the first Brits arrived on holiday yesterday with Ryanir flights from Manchester Airport and East Midlands Airport. Several areas in Spain have been handed an orange weather warning which is the result of hot African air reaching the country. But thermal-imaging cameras at Spanish airports will automatically take tourists temperatures when they touch down. The number of people allowed on to the beach is set to be limited in order to comply with strict social distancing rules. “As well as the 15 beach monitors the town hall is employing, the regional government has employed 56 monitors to improve security.
