On the street and sidewalks outside Spectrum's offices near E 23rd St. and 5th Ave., a few hundred labor organizers and union members cheered on speakers and waved signs while packed into large 'bullpens' set up by volunteer marshals and police. Attendees included members of IBEW Local 3's technician group but also its construction, elevator repair, and maintenance divisions, who expressed solidarity with their striking brothers and sisters. Mr.Mayor you talk about union and this being a uniontown and yet #local3 has been on #spectrumstrike for a year now and no end in sight. "You give your life to these people, and in the end, there's nothing to show for it," he added. Another IBEW Local 3 member, who declined to give his name, simply commented, "Spectrum lies, and we will not break."
