Speed camera set to go live next monthJOHN BISSET/STUFF The new fixed speed camera is located on the eastern side of State Highway 1, near Huirapa St in Temuka. Speeding motorists may be in for a surprise next month when Temuka's new fixed speed camera goes live. The spokeswoman said the length of time to get the Temuka camera operational was "standard process". Thomsen said the most important aspect was having speed cameras installed in high-risk locations. Thomsen said the AA would like to see signage warning motorists of speed camera areas.
