RUSSIAN Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Chief Executive Officer Kirill Dmitriev said on Saturday that the single-dose Sputnik Light vaccine could serve as a perfect booster for all Covid-19 vaccines regardless of platform. Included in the package were the first 5,000 doses of Sputnik Light vaccine, the single-dose version of Sputnik V that uses adenoviral vector 26 as its main ingredient. "So [the] Sputnik Light one shot [vaccine], we believe, in a month or three and thereafter, [is] more efficient than two shots of Pfizer. So this is the power of Sputnik Light as a standalone vaccine," Dmitriev said. "We have found Sputnik light to be an ideal universal booster.
