Kibet was the star of the show as St Anthony’s stormed to the final where they beat Dagoretti High School 2-0 to claim their sixth national title. Having earned plenty of plaudits for his immense talent, accolades have now started arriving for the 17-year-old who shrugged off stiff competition to be crowned the Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) Sports Personality of September. “Congratulations to teenager Aldrine Kibet for being named the winner of the LG and SJAK Sports Personality of the Month Award. Kibet was named the Kenya School Games MVP after leading his team St Anthony’s to the National Championship,” SJAK said via a statement on social media.
