Prosecutors alleged that Stockley also planted a gun at the scene, but the judge in the bench trial didn't buy it. Stockley had opted for a trial in which a judge would decide the verdict, with no jury. Police arrested demonstrators after the violence, which included assaults and chemical attacks on officers, police said.
