State saves seats for Raila, Wetang'ula at Afraha as Madaraka Day celebrations kick off

Seats have been reserved for Cord leaders at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru where the President will attend Madaraka Day celebrations on Wednesday. But the two are among Opposition leaders expected to attend parallel celebrations to mark the 53rd Madaraka Day at Uhuru Park in Nairobi. A source said Opposition leaders accepted the invitation but insisted the Uhuru Park rally must go on. President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto invited Cord leaders to the Nakuru fete where thousands of people are expected. Among them are those for Cord co-principals Raila Odinga and Moses Wetang'ula (Bungoma Senator).
