Joe Biden said his campaign is moving closer to winning the Democratic nomination and reached out to Bernie Sanders’s supporters during a livestream address from his home in Wilmington, Del. Mr. Biden noted that he was delivering the address in a livestream to avoid gathering supporters as the nation deals with the coronavirus pandemic. “We’ve moved closer to securing the Democratic Party’s nomination for president and we’re doing it by building a broad coalition,” he said. He said he and Mr. Sanders “may disagree on tactics, but we share a common vision,” on issues such as health care, wealth inequality and climate change. He told young voters inspired by Mr. Sanders, “I hear you, I know what’s at stake.”
