Mongolian Ambassador Tumur Amarsanaa said the horse holds a place in Mongolian identity comparable to the elephant in Thailand. "In Mongolia, the horse is sacred -- a companion and a symbol. Mr Chadchart said the installation highlights international friendship, reinforces Bangkok's role as a culturally vibrant global city, and marks 50 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Mongolia alongside their sister-city partnership.
