IPOH (June 4): The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, reminded Muslims to celebrate Aidilfitri in accordance with Islamic principles and complement the charitable acts performed during the fasting month of Ramadan. He advised Muslims to refrain from doing anything bad, and avoid wastage and extravagance. “Appreciate the peaceful atmosphere which allows people of various religions to live in harmony and together celebrate the joy of Aidilfitri in a safe homeland. Sultan Nazrin also said that the sacrifices and services provided by various parties to enable Aidilfitri to be celebrated in a safe, peaceful and joyful atmosphere must be appreciated. May their sacrifices receive the blessings of Allah and may their efforts be accepted as acts of kindness,” said Sultan Nazrin.
