"The speed limit could be brought right down to 60, wherever anyone is turning into or off the Moeraki turn-off," Wheeler said. According to Senior Sergeant Jason McCoy, of Oamaru, the Moeraki intersection was a "black spot on one of the nation's most dangerous stretches of road".
