The driver, aged in her 20s and from Gloucester, was stopped in Bath Road, Chippenham on Wednesday, September 13. This arrest was made by roads policing officers carrying out Project Zero patrols in the area. Each week officers target drivers committing any of the fatal five offences in a bid to reduce the number of casualties on the county's roads. Throughout the day, a total of 52 road-related offences were identified and dealt with by officers covering all fatal five offences. Acting inspector Will Ayres said: “The most concerning incident during the day was a driver using a mobile phone at the wheel, whilst also over the drug drive limit.
