KUALA LUMPUR: Police spent almost three hours quizzing Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman over a video he posted on Instagram. "He was asked to assist investigations involving a 57-second video clip titled #JusticeforGanapathy which was posted on his Instagram account. He said the case was being investigated by the Bukit Aman CID Special Investigations Unit (USJT). "I was told the case was being investigated under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Commission Act and Section 503b of the Penal Code. He said the video posted was on urging the government to set up the Independent Police Complaints of Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) after the death of A. Ganapathy in police custody.
