TNCU False Alarm Paralyzes Activities At Ganta Border

A false security alarm of smuggled arms and ammunition on two trucks from Guinea paralyzed normal customs activities at the main border in Ganta. The search brought activities at the border post to a standstill, with people’s attention focused on the outcome of the TNCU allegation. Customs collector Ephraim Miller expressed disappointment with the false security alarm. He said security officers who raised the alarm were all assigned in Monrovia and not in Ganta. We were surprised to hear that these trucks contained arms or contraband goods,” he said.
