An all-party delegation would be taken to New Delhi to mount pressure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to concede the demand. Mr. Modi would be requested to set up the ministry of BCs welfare which could look into reservations for BCs in promotions, Mr. Rao said at a meeting of BC MPs, MLAs and MLCs here on Sunday. In this context, he recalled that the Assembly had already passed a resolution urging the Centre to take steps to extend political reservations to BCs. We will provide reservations to BCs in allotment of lands by Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation for entrepreneurship”. There was no scope for politics in the matter because all parties were committed to development and welfare of BCs.
