Pérez took a break from the sport last season having lost his Red Bull seat at the end of the 2024 season, a period he admits was "very difficult". Now with Cadillac, the Mexican comes back with a point to prove and a new chapter to write. As he's been telling CNN's Amanda Davies while podium finishes may not be realistic just yet, the unpredictability of the season's new rules changes could shake-up the grid like never before.
