One of the seven police officers killed during the Kapenguria attack was on Saturday buried in an emotional send-off at his home in Dabado, Kilifi county. Faces were buried in palms and handkerchiefs mopped flood of tears of mourners as officer Cpl Bernard Katana Kitu's coffin was being lowered into the grave. The Kapenguria Police officers gave a donation Sh 69,000 to help in education the officer's children. Kapenguria OCPD Joseph Macharia Ruku revealed that on the material day he parted with Cpl Katana who was his official driver and close friend at 3PM to attend to other assignments outside the division.
