RIO DE JANEIRO: A teenager opened fire at a school in southeastern Brazil on Friday, leaving two students injured, authorities said. In a statement, the state’s secretary of education said the shooter and another teen who was with him had been taken into custody. Cell phone video posted on G1 showed students running out of the school. A military police spokesman for the state said police were investigating at the scene and could not immediately provide comment. However, school shootings involving students are relatively rare.
