Two teenagers who died after the car they were in crashed into a wall in Oamaru have been named. Michael Shelford Hauheni​, 17, and Kaylem Rayne Webb, 16, both of Oamaru were found dead inside the burning vehicle about 11.10pm on Wednesday. The teenage driver was allegedly "hoofing it" when he crashed into a wall, critically injuring himself and killing his two passengers. The teenagers were killed in a crash in Oamaru on Wednesday. On Thursday, Waitaki Boys' High School rector Darryl Paterson said a year 12 student of the school had been killed in the crash and the driver was a former student of the school.
