Along the border, the Royal Thai Army reported the situation has largely remained calm but still requires close monitoring. The government's joint Thai-Cambodian border situation information centre said the move strictly followed agreed mechanisms and humanitarian principles, aimed at reducing tensions and allowing ceasefire measures to take effect.
