Waitherero said the report seeks to demoralize the Kenya’s security forces and heighten civilian hatred against security officers. Waitherero said the KCC and affiliated NGOs will not allow HRW and other agencies destroy the morale of Kenya’s security agencies to keep Kenyans safe. Survivors of terror attacks have dismissed the report by human rights watch that documents terror suspects who have allegedly disappeared mysteriously in the hands of security operatives. “It comes as shock to see the sort of demands and claims made by the report on claims of disappearances,” Kenya citizens coalition convener Betty Waitherero said. The report dubbed; abuses in counter- terrorism operations in Northeastern Kenya was launched last week.
