Tetu MP aspirant Ann Kanyi is nursing back and leg injuries and a knee dislocation after she was attacked by goons while on her campaign trail. Kanyi, who is the only woman parliamentary aspirant in Tetu, was traversing the constituency when a vehicle with a gang on board blocked her way before escaping at Mbaaini area. The aspirant who is vying for the seat on a Jubilee ticket, said four men smashed her cars' windows, dragged her out and started assaulting her. “When the car blocked me, four masked armed men jumped out and came running towards my car. Tetu Deputy County Commissioner Herman Shambi has banned all night meetings in the area and assured Kanyi of her safety.
