Despite a slick new design reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy 7 , the headline grabber for this, the company's more productivity focused phablet is the addition of an iris scanner that lets you unlock the phone just by looking at it. What’s bad: The iris scanner does not work well in really bright sunny conditions. What’s interesting: The Note was the prototypical big phone when it launched in 2011, seeming like a giant amongst tiny phones. When it works, which is most of the time, the iris scanner is absolutely a piece of wow technology that serves a real purpose. Most of the small improvements that Samsung has made with this phone work very well.
