What with all the new earnings reports out lately, Nintendo has revealed that the Switch has met another sales milestone by shifting 22.86 million units worldwide. As the GameCube only amassed 21.74 million global sales. These figures are also as of the end of September, so don’t include this month’s global sales data. In addition, Nintendo released an updated breakdown of the top ten selling Switch games worldwide. Super Mario Odyssey – 12.17 million units Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 11.71 million units The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 10.28 million units Splatoon 2 – 7.47 million units 1-2 Switch – 2.64 million units Mario Tennis Aces – 2.16 million units ARMS – 2.10 million units Kirby: Star Allies – 2.10 million units Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze – 1.67 million units Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – 1.53 million unitsWhile there is no question that Zelda: Breath of the Wild was an incredibly important launch title for the Switch, it is not the best-selling game on the system.
