The flight was part of a pilot program to test the idea of safe travel corridors between European countries. Across the continent, border restrictions have begun to tumble as coronavirus infection rates have fallen, but limits on travel between certain countries remain in place. (Visitors from the United States will likely need to wait a bit longer before travel to Europe is allowed again.) But even as Spain opens its arms to foreign tourists, the fun in the sun will still come with some caveats. To reduce the possibility of spreading the coronavirus at pools, the Spanish government is requiring a number of safety measures.
