Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has rubbished media reports that there are divisions in the government over State appointments. Gachagua said the government is solid and that there are no differences between him and President William Ruto as alleged. All the appointments are his prerogative," said Gachagua. He said that he and leaders from the Mt Kenya region are contented with the State appointments given to persons from the region by the President. He gave Mt Kenya even more than we expected in the appointments of Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries.
