Around 80 mobile phones worth Rs1.3 lakh were stolen from a mobile shop in bandra (West) on Sunday. The unidentified thieves entered the shop through a hole in the wall and as the shop did not have any CCTV installed the police is finding it difficult to find them. Lalit Kumar, 28, the shop owner, told the police that he left the shop around 10.30pm and early in the morning a tea vendor near his store called him to inform him about the burglary. Kumar told HT, “The police are checking the CCTV cameras near the railway station and the ones on the roads. I trust them.” An FIR has been registered under appropriate sections of the IPC for break-in and theft.
