Threat brings armed police to Hutt Hospital, near WellingtonMATT TSO/STUFF Hutt Hospital on High St, Lower Hutt was in lockdown after a threat was made just before 6pm on Tuesday. Hutt Hospital was placed on lockdown for about a three hours on Tuesday night after a "security threat" to the hospital. Police were called to the hospital on High St at about 6pm on Tuesday after receiving a report of concerning information. A source within the hospital told Stuff that armed police were still there at 9pm and there was a lot of activity in or near the hospital's maternity ward.
