It's been a busy May long in the backcountry for STARS crews. STARS flew a 24-year-old woman to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary after she sustained traumatic injuries in an ATV collision. STAR-1 (Calgary) has been dispatched for a scene call emergency in the Lake Louise, AB area. —@STARSambulanceSTARS was called out again on Sunday afternoon, this time to the Lake Louise area, where a 22-year-old man had been struck by a falling boulder while hiking. The boulder caused traumatic injuries and the man was reported to be in serious condition.
