BALIK PULAU: A 30-year-old man has been remanded by a magistrate's court here Wednesday (Sept 26) for hitting the side mirror of a car during a road rage incident near the Queensbay Mall roundabout. Magistrate Nur Azzuin Abdul Moati granted a three-day remand order, ending Friday (Sept 28) for the suspect, a factory operator based in Kuala Nerang, Kedah, to assist in investigations. The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for committing mischief and causing damage and Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt. The suspect got down from his car and began scolding the driver and his wife," he said. Supt Anbalagan said a quarrel then ensued before the suspect grabbed two hand phones belonging to the woman.
