International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has sentenced three war criminals, including razakar Amir Ahmed, alias Amir Ali, to death in a case filed over crimes against humanity in 1971 Liberation War of Bangladesh. Another accused of the case, Md Yusuf has been acquitted, due to his death caused by old age complications. The prosecution pressed charges against five people, including the four in the war crimes case. As another accused of the case, M Yusuf, died after the pressing of the charges, the deceased was not indicted. On June 20, 2016, the tribunal framed three specific charges against four people for their alleged involvement in crimes.
