Bangladesh players were granted a three-day leave from their skill camp, which maintained a bio-secure bubble, and upon returning, Bangladesh Cricket Board took samples of the cricketers and coaching staffs, among others. All the reports came out negative, including that of seamer Abu Jayed Rahi, who earlier tested Covid-19 positive. The 27-member squad resumed skill training Thursday and will divide into two teams for the first of two two-day practice games. Players and coaching staffs will again give samples for Covid-19 testing Saturday, following which they will rest for a day Sunday before playing their second and final two-dayer Monday. The cricketers are also scheduled to play a three-day practice match between themselves, starting October 13.
