FTX, for which Brady served as an “ambassador,” filed for bankruptcy in November 2021. The lawsuit alleges that none of the defendants, including Brady and the other celebrities, conducted due diligence before marketing FTX products to the public. The collapse of FTX, which was valued at $32 billion and included $48 million in shares held by Brady and Bundchen, has rendered their investments worthless. Despite the financial setback, Tom Brady remains one of the highest-paid athletes globally.
