Tottenham’s new Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici has identified Max Aarons as one of his main transfer targets at right-back this summer. The future of Serge Aurier at Spurs is uncertain, and the club’s new transfer chief is on the hunt for alternatives. Brighton and Hove Albion’s full-back Tariq Lamptey was believed to be Tottenham’s first-choice option to come in on the right side of defence. And Norwich City right-back Aarons is a cheaper alternative, with his club reportedly valuing him at around £30m. However, Norwich reportedly want to keep Aarons at Carrow Road, and are willing to offer him an extension to his current deal, which has three years remaining.
