PHOTO | JARED NYATAYAThe Sh150 million fraud case involving double World Indoor 1,500m silver medalist athlete, Daniel Kipchirchir Komen, and Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker, Isaac Terer, began at the High Court in Eldoret on Thursday. The athlete moved to court to recover property valued at Sh150m that he accuses the Uasin Gishu speaker of swindling him. The Uasin Gishu County Assembly is expected to debate Mr Tere’s conduct on Friday afternoon. Some Members of the County Assembly have threatened to impeach Mr Terer if the allegations are found to be true.
