Trent Boult of New Zealand hopes his decision to relinquish the central contract does not mean he has played his final Test. The left-arm seamer, on the other hand, understands that giving up the central contract has an impact on his selection. The 33-year-old requested a contract release earlier this month in order to spend more time with his family and be available for franchise cricket around the world. The veteran is one of 12 platinum players available for selection in the Big Bash League draft on Sunday. As a result, he will continue to receive a salary of AU$340,000 [NZ$380,000].
