A truck driver has lost his licence and his truck for seven days for allegedly following another trucker too closely. Ontario Provincial Police were patrolling the area using its aviation services as well as having officers on the ground when they spotted the infraction. Police allege that one truck, travelling in excess of 100 km/hr was less than 10 metres behind another truck. The driver received a seven day driver's licence suspension and the tractor trailer was impounded for seven days. "Keeping a safe following distance is the law, and is for your safety."
