President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he and first lady Melania Trump “were treated very nicely” during their Tuesday visit to Pittsburgh to pay their respects to victims of this weekend’s anti-Semitic shooting. He made the remark even after large numbers of community members protested his presence and elected officials declined to meet with him. In a tweet, Trump also suggested that he was the victim, calling news reports about the protests “disgraceful” and claiming that the “small protest was not seen by us, staged far away.”Melania and I were treated very nicely yesterday in Pittsburgh. pic.twitter.com/9B9HgCF1G9 — Donald J.
