A court of the Tunisian second city of Sfax indicated Wednesday that four Tunisians have been arrested and indicted for housing illegal migrants, local media ‘Tunisie Numerique’ reports. The spokesman of the Court of First instance of Sfax reportedly indicated 33 illegal migrants were arrested and four other Tunisians also detained for housing them. The illegal migrants, the court added, rented an entire building for their stay before taking to the sea in direction to Europe’s southern coasts. 34 Sub-Saharans were also arrested for illegal entry and reside in Tunisia. The North African country is used as a transit by thousands of migrants willing to reach Europe’s southern coasts.
