Gen. Mohamed Al-Haddad. The briefing took place during a meeting held on Thursday at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli. Presidential Council's media office explained that the meeting addressed the latest developments on the local and regional scenes, with an exchange of views on several issues of mutual interest, within the framework of ongoing coordination between the two countries. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and intensify coordination to support the political process and strengthen the prospects for national reconciliation, emphasizing that stability in Libya is a fundamental pillar for the security of the region. They stressed the importance of continued Libyan-Turkish consultations to ensure support for security and stability and to consolidate state institutions on solid foundations, thus preventing any tensions that could hinder inclusive settlement efforts.
