Two kidnapped students of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Mr Divine Omajuwa and Miss Hamza Hussiena Jennifer, have regained freedom. The Student Union Government (SUG) of the institution had, on Tuesday, issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the police and other security agents to rescue the abducted students or brace for students’ unrest in the state. But a student source, on Wednesday morning, told our reporter that the abducted students had been released, unhurt. “No money was given to the kidnappers and the students are in police custody as of this morning,” the source noted.
