Emergency crews attend a collision at Kuriwao, north of Clinton, on State Highway 1 yesterday afternoon. A police spokeswoman said a truck and a utility vehicle collided shortly before 2.30pm. Appliances were sent from Balclutha and Waiwera South, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand communications spokesman said. Fenz services were not required to rescue anyone as nobody was trapped in either of the vehicles, the spokesman said. A St John spokesman said two patients with moderate injuries were transported to Clutha Health First in Balclutha by ambulance.
